Cancer is a disease that touches everyone, whether it’s a relative, co-worker, or a neighbor who’s been diagnosed. During these times, hearing survival stories can make all the difference.

This program is designed for cancer patients and their families, clinicians and other caregivers. The title of this inspiring program was created by Connecticut’s Middlesex Hospital Outpatient Center where Hope Douglas, founder of Wind Over Wings, was a breast cancer patient. The birds in this program are unable to be released back to the wild due to injury. They include a Bald and Golden Eagle. Their stories are heart-warming and passionate. As Henry David Thoreau said, “In their daily life, all are braver than they know.”

We also accept donations made on behalf of this cause, which will fund future cancer programs.

I'll donate!
